Muddy, wet, harsh ground conditions? No problem. We have a solution, BPW AGRO Drive.
AGRO Drive keeps going even when others stop. The system is designed so that conditions do not decide, you do.
Why AGRO Drive is a strong solution?
Reduced slippage of the tractor drive wheels, resulting in better ground protection
Enables lighter tractors to pull heavier loads
Better payload to total weight ratio
Brake pad service is carried out according to the well known BPW method, without dismantling the drive motor

The VDMA was held in Kassel, Germany on 22–23 September 2025, served as a pre-brief for Agritechnica 2025. Over two days, 54 companies met 87 journalists from 62 editorial offices for more than a thousand one-on-one meetings. Our Agricultural Solutions team, represented by Frank Rothe and Attila Bódis, held 34 meetings across the stand and the networking dinner, introducing two new product lines and the roadmap behind them.
Kassel was an exciting milestone. The media received an early sneak peek of our refreshed visual identity. The new green direction drew attention, and the rationale resonated: Agricultural Solutions has matured into a distinct success within the BPW Group, and the updated look signals that focus while the BPW quality promise remains unchanged. The full rollout will follow later, but first reactions were positive.
Editors gravitated toward our multi-product line strategy and the new digital assistant. They valued the practicality: faster specification, simpler parts identification, smarter maintenance planning. On the other hand, we must state this clearly: the assistant complements expert advice, it speeds decisions, but it does not replace conversations.
We are excited to follow up with the editorial teams and to deepen these conversations in the run up to Agritechnica. Thank you to VDMA and all participants for a well-organized event in Kassel. We appreciate the conversations and the constructive feedback.

And don’t forget, perfect is just enough!
In November 2023, Agritechnica returned to the heart of Hannover, Germany, once again proving its status as the world’s leading trade fair for agricultural machinery - and the numbers speak for themselves. 470,000 visitors from 149 countries, and almost 2,800 exhibitors from 53 nations. The theme of the event was “Green Productivity”, and every exhibitor went all out to showcase their innovations.
BPW has been attending Agritechnica for the last 30 years, using the platform to showcase its latest innovations and connect with farmers and industry leaders from all over the world.
The custom‑built BPW stand became a true hub for meetings and memorable experiences. Beyond its eye‑catching appearance, we placed great emphasis on hospitality and showing what makes BPW a trusted partner in agricultural transport solutions worldwide. A 40‑square‑metre LED wall, complete with sound system and projection, featured videos and images from our partners throughout the event.
We didn’t just present BPW’s latest innovations - we created interactive experiences for the visitors. Our digital solutions came to life on an interactive wall, demonstrating our sensor technology and the operation of ARC and AGRO HUB 2.0. As for physical exhibits, the AGRO Robust and the new weldable HP flexmodule were also on display at the stand. Experiences like these are exactly why Agritechnica holds such a special place for us - it’s where innovation meets real‑world connection, and where we can share our vision directly with those who use our products every day.

Over the years, Agritechnica has proven to be a fantastic platform for BPW to connect with both industry professionals and the farming community, exchange ideas, and present the latest technologies in agricultural transport and mobility. Being part of this event is always a special experience for our team, and 2025 will be no different. We can’t wait to welcome visitors and share what we have been working on over the past years, because for our partners, perfect is just enough.
The BPW AGRAR FL 450x180 brake was specifically designed to meet the demanding conditions of agricultural work. It delivers reliable, consistent braking performance, requiring minimal maintenance, making it an ideal solution for extended use.
The FL 450x180 braking system can be seen as the larger, more powerful sibling of the well-established FL 410x180. This proven model provided the foundation for our engineers during the development process, offering a reliable starting point while leaving room for innovation. However, scaling up the design came with its own set of challenges. Throughout the project, the team worked diligently to identify and resolve these issues, combining finite element analysis with real-world testing. Every obstacle was overcome step by step, resulting in a brake system that delivers the same reliable performance as its forerunner, but with the strength and capacity to meet even greater demands.
This brake system is fully tested and certified according to the strictest European safety standards guaranteeing high reliability and safety. Its sturdy construction ensures a long service life, even when operating in harsh environments such as mud, dust, or rain. The FL 450x180 is compatible with various axle beam options, allowing it to fit a wide range of vehicle variations.
For added functionality, the FL 450x180 can be equipped with integrated advanced sensor technology. ABS sensors improve braking stability and control, while Speed and Direction of Rotation Sensors (SDS) play a crucial role in optimizing output and are an integral component of electronic power steering systems. These sensors are mounted inside the brake drum, protecting them from dirt, water, and mechanical impacts.
Additionally, the FL 450x180 is prepared for integration with the Central Tire Inflation System (CTIS), developed in cooperation with PTG. This system allows for tire pressure adjustment on the move, reducing soil compaction by up to 33%, improving fuel efficiency by 15% and increasing productivity by 4%. It also enhances traction, lowers rolling resistance, and extends tire life. The anti-corrosion coating and patented sealing system ensure the CTIS remains reliable over time.
Overall, the BPW AGRAR FL 450x180 brake delivers durable, efficient braking tailored to the needs of modern agriculture – proving to our customers that perfect, is just enough.
